Aquendia did not come from a wish to build software, but from what we kept seeing happen in small businesses.

Large companies have software built for them. Small businesses too often have to choose between off-the-shelf software that does not fit the way they work and custom development they cannot afford.

To make up for it, many small businesses pile up subscriptions: one program for invoicing, another for customers, a third for inventory. The bill arrives every month, and these programs do not talk to each other: the same information is typed several times and nobody sees the whole picture.

Where the name comes from
Aquendia is an invented name built on two Latin roots: aqua, the water that always finds its way, and quaerere, to seek. It captures how we work: finding the right path between a client's need and the solution that answers it.
